Teaching Philosphy
My journey as a teacher began as a teaching assistant during my education, and I later taught at the university level for seven years. When my child was born, I decided to step away from academia and embrace a more community-centered approach to art and art education.

These days, my heart and hands are rooted in clay. There's something deeply human about working with mud, something primal that calls us back to the earth. For me, clay isn’t just a material—it’s a teacher. In a world that’s constantly rushing and rewarding instant results, working with clay slows us down. It reminds us to be present, to listen, and to embrace the process. I believe everyone should experience that connection, especially now, when it feels like the world could use more grounding and reflection.
